Thank you to all who made an order for our Purdy's fundraiser. The chocolate has arrived and can be picked up Friday between 3:00 and 4:00. The Christmas and Easter Purdy's fundraiser will become a regular part of our yearly fundraising, so thank you for helping us get that started this year Vedder Middle School is hosting the Drive a Ford fundraiser on April 26. This fundraiser is a joint effort between the athletics program, student services, and outdoor education. To do our part, we would like each of our student to try and recruit 4 to 5 adults who will pledge to be there on April 26 to drive a Ford. The poster below explains the details of this fundraiser Our school goal is to get to the maximum $6000, with a third of that money going to each department. OEA students have been given the school pledge forms, attached below. Please make sure students return the bottom of these filled out forms to school. The first 5 OED students to bring us 5 forms will receive a $20 Purdy's gift card. For every person a student recruits, that student gets their name entered into a draw for an iPad mini. We really want to see an OED student win this. We love technology in the classroom (When used at the appropriate time. I'm talking to you Nick, Mercedes, Jade...). ![]()
This will bring us to the end of our fundraising for this year. Canoe training begins next Friday. Please remember to check the calendar for bus times. Some days go a bit beyond the regular bell. It is important for all students to make every effort to be at these training sessions before the Bowron Lakes trip. Please make note of this when making appointments for your son or daughter.
