Ski Trips and Other News

Whistler Mountain opens this weekend and the forecast looks promising for snow. We have two ski trips coming up in December. Whister-Blackcomb has an excellent student program, which gives quality teaching to new or beginner skier/snowboarders, as well as an excellent guided experience of Whistler for experienced students. Students were given this form last week and the deadline to return the forms in tomorrow. It is attached at the end of this post.

Jon Allen, our kayak instructor, came to our class on Monday to talk about Chilliwack Centre of Excellence Kayak Club opportunities. All students did a great job with the kayaking unit this fall, and if any are interested, there are many ways for them to keep on kayaking. All students are club members until March. Finally, there are only a few weeks left to take part in our Purdy's chocolate fundraiser. Even if your family is not interested in purchasing much chocolate, please consider forwarding the link to friends and family in the Chilliwack area.
