The weather looks like it is going to be good for our winter camping trip so we are officially making the call to make it a two night trip. That means we will be leaving at 9:30 on Monday morning and returning at 1:30 on Wednesday. Students will only need to be at the school for a regular start time on Monday and will be dismissed with the regular bell on Wednesday. Students divided up group gear and took all of their gear home yesterday. It is expected that they carefully go pack everything and show up with a well packed bag for Monday morning. Students had their meals planned on Wednesday and were given a packing list to write down. The trip info package also includes a packing list. It is attached at the bottom of this post. Remember, those dates have now been changed to a three day trip from Feb 23-25. Although the forecast is for warm days, the nights could get quite cold so quality insulation is important. Students should have multiple insulation layers to wear between their base layers and rain shells. I've attached the Hope and Princeton Environment Canada weather forecasts. ![]()
