This is just a reminder that we have a full day trip this coming Monday April 29. Students need to be at school by 5:50 AM for a 6:00 sharp departure. Remember to bring hiking boots, rain gear, plenty of food and snacks for the full day, and plenty of water. Time permitting, there may be a pit-stop in Squamish, but make sure you have enough food if a pit-stop does not fit in our time frame. We are looking forward to a great day of learning outside at some phenomenal sites.

We have a very full schedule coming up for OEA in May. With longer daylight hours we also have some longer trips so please note all departure and arrival times. If there are any issues with times please email us and we can try to work something out so your student can go, We would like to have good attendance on all these trips. Most of the trips do have a significant academic focus to them.
The extra hour for our canoe training allows us to still have three blocks of class time on those days, which is important for wrapping things up at the end of the year. Be sure to note our community service day, "Paddle for Cultus" on May 11. Please see the attached document for all detailed information. Students were given the same document in class today. Please return all signed forms by April 24. Thanks. Looking forward to a busy finish to the year outside. We have added some photos from our winter units to the photo gallery. Have a look.
